Our standard chair is constructed with a curved seat and curved back for maximum comfort. Solid 1 inch cedar boards are planed and sanded on one side to a finished thickness of 7/8″. This rugged well constructed chair will last decades. You get thicker wood than most others. Standard chairs are 20 inch wide. Assembled with stainless fasteners. Fully assembled unless UPS shipping in kit form to fit in 48″ x 24″ x 13″ Box.
Description
This standard Adirondack Chair was the very first design which I originally build 35 years ago before the business was established. I discovered the beauty and durability of White Cedar in Alexander, Maine on our way to Pocomoonshine Lake in Princeton, Maine. I discovered a small sawmill run by a gentleman named Gary Spooner and began purchasing a trailer load of White Cedar every year when we visited Pocomoonshine Lake. The Standard chair and picnic tables were built for their beauty, resilience, and lightness.
