The chair has all the same features of our standard chair. My Mom encouraged me to build a chair that she could easily get up from. At 5′ 2″ tall and 80 yrs old the modification worked. This Chair is 20 inches wide.The Modification includes a lower the seat by one inch and the back is one inch closer to the front. The fit is tighter and actually easier to get up from when sitting. The feel of this chair is suited to smaller body frames.
