Modified Adirondack Chair

This chair has all the same features of our standard chair except we lower the seat by one inch and place the back one inch closer to the front. The fit is tighter and actually easier to get up from when sitting. The feel of this chair is suited to smaller frames or if you prefer reading over relaxation because the seat back angle is slightly less reclined. Additionally, my Mom encouraged me to build a chair that she could get up from easily; she’s 5′ 2″ tall and at the time of request was 80 yrs old. 20 inches wide.
